Sushant Mishra

Sushant Mishra is an Indian cricketer. He was born on 23 December 2000 in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Early life

Mishra’s trajectory towards success reached new heights when he earned selection to represent India at the Under – 19 level. With the national youth squad, he exhibited his potential as a fast bowler, consistently unsettling batsmen with his pace, bounce, and ability to move the ball both ways.

Prior to his List A debut, he was named in India’s squad for the 2020 Under – 19 Cricket World Cup.

Domestic Career:

List A debut: on 8 December 2021, for Jharkhand in the 2021 – 22 Vijay Hazare Trophy
First – class debut: on 17 February 2022, for Jharkhand in the 2021 – 22 Ranji Trophy

Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 Franchise Career:

The Indian Premier League (IPL) stage soon beckoned for Mishra, with his tall and well – built physique catching the eye of scouts. In 2022, he was signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad, showcasing his potential as a valuable addition to any franchise.
His journey in the IPL continued to glide, after the Gujarat franchise picked him for Rs 2.20 crore ahead of the 2024 IPL season, further solidifying his status as a rising star in the cricketing landscape.
