Early life:

He is son of IPS officer Shailesh Singh.

Career:

• List A debut: on 10 December 2015 in the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy
• First – class debut: on 9 December 2019, for Chhattisgarh in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy

IPL Career:

Shashank has played 10 matches in his IPL career and has scored 69 runs, with an average of 17.25. His highest IPL score is 25* runs. He hit 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Major Achievements:

In November 2023, he became the first Indian First – Class cricketer to score 150 runs and take five wickets in the same match during his team’s Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 win over Manipur by 88 runs.
