Arjun Sachin Tendulkar

Arjun Tendulkar is a promising young cricketer, son of legendary player Sachin Tendulkar.

Early Life: He was born to Sachin Tendulkar and Anjali Tendulkar. He has an elder sister, Sara. His maternal grandparents are Anand Mehta and Annabel Mehta. His maternal grandfather is a Gujarati industrialist and his grandmother was an English philanthropist. She was awarded the Order of the British Empire for her service to underprivileged communities in Mumbai.

Career: Arjun made his debut in the under 19 team for the match of India vs. Sri Lanka. His T20 debut was on 15 January 2021. He played for Mumbai vs. Haryana in the 2020 – 2021 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He took 1/34 off three overs.

IPL Career

He was selected in Mumbai’s senior team for the 1st time in September 2021. However, he was later ruled out of IPL 2021 due to injury. MI signed him on again after getting him in the IPL 2022 auction. He quit the team in August 2022 to join Goa before the domestic season.

Tendulkar made his first class debut on 13 December 2022. He played against Rajasthan in the Ranji Trophy, scoring a maiden century hitting 120 in 207 balls in the first innings. He made his IPL debut on 16 April 2023 when he played for MI vs. KKR. Arjun made his maiden wicket in the tournament by dismissing Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
