IPL Career
Mitchell Santner, a cricketer from New Zealand, entered the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2016 and joined the Gujarat Lions team. He showcased his potential as an all-rounder in his debut IPL season, contributing with both batting and bowling skills. Santner’s left-arm spin bowling and his ability to bat lower down the order added depth to the Gujarat Lions’ squad.
After the 2017 season, the Gujarat Lions team was disbanded, and Santner got picked by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of the 2018 IPL season.
