  1. RCB had a name change. It is not Royal Challengers Bangalore anymore. To keep up with the new times, it is now called Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
  2. In the Mumbai Indians team, Kwena Maphaka has replaced Dilshan Madushanka.
  3. The injured Jason Behrendorff is replaced with England’s Luke Wood in the Mumbai Indians squad.
  4. Harry Brook opted out of the 17th game season citing personal reasons.
  5. Jake Fraser McGurk replaced Lungi Ngidi in the Delhi Capitals.
  6. Devon Conway was ruled out of the IPL.
  7. Pat Cummins, the Australian all rounder is now the captain of SRH.
  8. Prasidh Krishna will not be playing in the IPL games this season.
  9. Mohammed Shami was ruled out of the IPL.
  10. Rishabh Pant is given the ideal fitness certificate from the NCA. He will participate and play as the captain of Delhi Capitals.
