This included their logistics manager, team doctor, masseur and their high performance analyst arriving at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium before the start of their pre – season camp. Ruturaj Gaikwad had to return to competitive cricket through the final Ranji Trophy match of Maharashtra against Services. This happened on 16th February this year where he scored 96 and 4 not out. This event withdrew him from participating further in the subsequent Test series matches against Proteas.
Deepak Chahar withdrew from India’s home T20I series which was against Australia and all other subsequent series in the shortest format. This happened in South Africa.
